Archangel Michael Church was located at what is now the Soviet Martyrs Cemetery on Qingyun jie, Dalian, Liaoning Province.
The foundation to the cylindrical Chapel still remains, but just a faint hint of it can be seen in the ground. Also, some of the original steps that led to the Chapel up the slope are still there. That is about all the obvious remains of the Church structure. A crucifix that had been placed at the top step (to the North of the Chapel) was moved a bit South to a corner where there is a large rock formation.
It looked like there was a substantial addition made to the Chapel in the late 1930s. There is sort of a visitors/administrative building in that spot now, rather small like an apartment almost.
There were several old graves near the Chapel's original location, but the names were destroyed. Also, there was a fair bit land that seemed to be grave sites with no markers at all. There seemed to be two basic batches, 1920s and 1940 burials. Older dates were sprinkled in among them, but all in Russian.
