On October 1, 2013 an organizational meeting of the Russian Club was held in Dalian. This city is located in the north-eastern part of China in the Gulf of the Yellow Sea on the southern tip of the Liaodong Peninsula. Dalian is the second largest city in Liaoning province.
At the first meeting of the Club Charter there was approval of design documentation, as well as they elected Chairman of the Board P.L. Yatskov. At present, the Board includes 4 people. They set goals and objectives of this club, discussed joint activities in the near future.
On October 17, 2013 was held an enlarged meeting of the club, which was attended by the Consul General of the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Shenyang S.Y. Paltov. Countrymen were represented at the meeting by businessmen, journalists, intellectuals. Most of these people live in Dalian for many years, but among them there are recently arrived. On the part of the Consul General there were heard congratulations and wishes for prosperity to the club and assurances of support and assistance in addressing emerging issues. Also, they read the greeting from the President of KSSK M.V. Drozdov to all those present.
