BEIJING. The 13th All-China Conference on Russian philosophy was held June 8-9 at Beijing Normal University. The theme of the conference was the role of Russian philosophy in the modernization of Russia.
The forum was attended by more than 60 scientists from various universities in China, as well as representatives of the Russian scientific academy. Fr. Dionisy Pozdnyaev, priest-in-charge of Hong Kong's parish of Sts. Peter and Paul, was also a guest of the conference.
Hong Kong Orthodox parish pays special attention to developing contacts with China's academic world. Among the books published by the parish one may find works of Russian religious philosophers, as well as contemporary theologians.
