In 1945, the Hong Kong deanery was included in the Beijing Diocese of the East Asian Exarchate of the Russian Orthodox Church. In 1970 the parish's activities were suspended due to the death of its long-time pastor, Archpriest Dimitry Uspensky.
At present, the Orthodox Brotherhood of the Apostles Peter and Paul is active in Hong Kong; it consists of Orthodox compatriots in the Hong Kong (Xianggang) Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China.
