This festal icon with yellow background depicts the Holy Hierarch John, Wonderworker of Shanghai and San Francisco, blessing with Trikir and Cross. In 1996 on the centennial of Vladika's birth, this icon was commissioned in honour of the Finding of the relics of St John in San Francisco when Vladika's tomb was opened in 1993. The icon was painted by Hieromonk Andrei from Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, New York.
This online copy is scanned from an icon print blessed on St John's holy relics which was graciously provided by Fr Mark Gomez with the blessing of His Eminence, Archbishop KYRILL of San Francisco and Western America. This icon is currently out of print and will no longer be made again but is now being made available online for the faithful in China to download and distribute for veneration.
