Description

A 2012 wall calendar in the Chinese language published according to the Julian Calendar with the date of Pascha listed. Full color reproduction of the interior view of the Red Fangzi, with explanation running on left margin explaining this former archbishopric residence with the St Innokenty of Irkutsk Cross Church. The Cross church (Cross church is a term that means a church in the bishop's living quarters) was located in the left side of the building, while private archbishopric apartments were located on the right side. In recent years, after being converted into a meeting hall, divine services were held at the Red Fangzi along with the installation of a portable iconostasis. With the opening of the newly restored Holy Dormition Church at the Russian Embassy in Beijing, the last Sunday Liturgy in the Red Fangzi was held on October 11, 2009. All twelve month calendar displayed at bottom half of calendar, with feast and fast days color coded. The right margin displays the dates of major feast days.
