The Foundation of the Orthodox Church in Thailand, translated and published for the first time in the Thai language a book, "300 sayings of Orthodox Church ascetics", prepared by the well-known missionary, Deacon George Maksimov, Candidate of Theology and professor of the Moscow Theological Academy. With the blessing of Archimandrite Oleg Cherepanin, the representative of the Russian Orthodox Church, 1,000 copies of the book were published. According to the site of the Orthodox Church in Thailand, many Russian and English-speaking parishioners of Orthodox churches in this country were willing to cover [donate] the cost of for multiple copies, so that local residents would have the opportunity to get this book free of charge.
