On Saturday, March 10, His Eminence Nikitas, Metropolitan of Hong Kong and South East Asia (Patriarchate of Constantinople) visited the Holy Virgin Cathedral in San Francisco. The purpose of his visit was to pray at the relics of St. John, Wonderworker of Shanghai and San Francisco and at the Vigil for the Sunday of the Cross. His Eminence appreciates Russian Orthodox liturgical traditions, since he studied Russian at the St. Petersburg Theological Academy.
