Orthodox Cross on joint borders of Russia, China and Mongolia

An Orthodox cross has been installed in Chita oblast' in the tri-border area of Russia, China and Mongolia, reports "Interfax-Siberia".

The dark colored cross with gilt lettering is made of metal. It is over six meters in height and weighs over a ton. The cross was produced in a machine factory in Chita. It is easily visible from the adjoining countries.

The consecration of the cross is planned to take place before the end of November.
