A new book entitled "Conduct of Construction of Confession" has been published in Simplified Chinese by the Orthodox Brotherhood of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in Hong Kong (Moscow Patriarchate) with the blessing of Metropolitan KYRILL of Smolensk and Kaliningrad. This 157 page book contains practical spiritual direction written by Archimandrit Ioann (Krest'jankin) from Pskovo-Pecherskaja Lavra. It was first published by the Lavra in Russian in 1999, and due to popular demand was reprinted again in 2004 under ISBN 5-7676-01364.

An initial draft Chinese translation by Wen Jian (Helena of Beijing) was first made available online in January 2006 for review. It has gone through a final revision in March 2006 in preparation for publication. This text is also available online at http://www.orthodox.cn/catechesis/ArchimIoann/.
