Metropolitan KIRILL of Smolensk and Kaliningrad, DECR chairman, met with Russian General Consul in Shanghai A. Sharonov on February 3, 2006, at the DECR.
They discussed, among other things, problems involved in the preservation of Russian cultural heritage in Shanghai and ways of providing pastoral care for the Orthodox faithful living in Shanghai.
