Moscow. October 13. INTERFAX – Metropolitan KYRILL of Smolensk and Kaliningrad and Mikhail Shvydkoi, head of RosKultura have become part of the organizing committee of observing the "Year of Russia in China" and the "Year of China in Russia".
This is mentioned in the directive of President Vladimir Putin of the Russian Federation which is posted on the official site of the head of state.
Cultural activities, intended to acquaint the citizens of both countries with each other's national traditions, will take place in the coming year, 2006.
