August 23, 2004, 12:36 - The holy relics of Elizaveta Fyodorovna and the nun Varvara during these days will be in the Amur region, an area bordering with China.
As was reported to "Interfax" by action organizers from the Andrew-the-first-called Foundation, from Tuesday on one of the vessels with the relics of Saints Elizaveta and Varvara will be successively taken to hospitals, prisons, orphanages, children's homes and to remote areas of the Amur region. On Thursday a special train the relics will continue on their way across Russia: the relics will be taken to Chita, then to Ulan-Ude, Irkutsk, Krasnoyark and other cities of the country.
In addition, a particle of the relics, presented several days ago to the Khabarovsk church which is being erected in honor of St. Elizaveta Fyodorovna, will go in religious procession through Vladivostok, Beijing and Shanghai to Jerusalem.
