About the Logo

The logo above, designed by Reader Seraphim Lim of Singapore, is based on the Chinese word "Ya" which not only means the Asian world of which China considers herself the centre of it ("Zhong" guo), but also symbolizes the Cross bridging the Heavens and the Earth (symbolized by the 2 horizontal lines). At the backdrop is also a common Chinese motif found on traditional fabric. Also, the symbolism of the Cross is visible.
