Dragotsenka (Chinese Sanhe, Japanese Nayrumtu) was a former Russian settlement, one of the largest (after Verkh-Kuli) in terms of population in Trekhrech'ye, its center. [Three Rivers in Inner Mongolia]
The Temple of the Presentation of the Lord has been decorating the Cossack village of Dragotsenka for a decade and a half. It was a beautiful Cross-shaped Temple. The Temple continues to live in the memory of the residents of Trekhrech'ye , scattered all over the world. It was built in 1940 with donations from not only the inhabitants of Dragotsenka, but also from all the residents of Three Rivers. During the construction there was a Construction Committee of the Sretensky Temple, which included the most respected people: I.M. Naletov (chairman), P.A. Sharoglazov, T.I. Lopatin and V.I. Nefeliev, N.A. Fomin, I.N. Kargin, N.F. Kulikov, S.I. Banshchikov, N.K. Zhivotkov, G.F. Bragin, I. Ya. Peshkov. The temple was buried in the greenery of overgrown trees! In front of the entrance to the Temple there is a high carved porch with railings. The iconostasis is the richest! The first rector of the Temple was Archpriest Alexander Solyansky (1869-1956). Father Prokopiy (Makoveev) came to the newly opened Temple of his own free will. After the mass departure of Russians from Dragotsenka (now Sanhezhen) in 1955, the Chinese turned the Temple into a club, and later into a warehouse, and finally dismantled it for firewood. But the temple continues to live. In our hearts. [Svetlana Voloshina (Kychakova), Omsk. "Russian Atlantis"]
