Originally located at the address № 1, Zhengwumiao, Dongsi District, Beijing, this church was used as the new headquarters of the Chinese Autonomous Orthodox Church after the feast of St Innocent of Irkutsk (Nov 26/Dec 9, 1956) as a result of the closure of Beiguan and transfer of the Russian Mission property to the Soviet Embassy.
