On February 13, 2012, Archimandrite Kirill Govorun, first deputy head of the ROC's education committee and pro-rector of the Sts Cyril and Methodius Post-Graduate and Doctoral School, delivered a lecture at the Alliance Bible Seminary in Hong Kong.
He spoke on the history of Orthodox monasticism. His audience consisted of professors and undergraduates majoring in the Church History.
