New Orthodox Books in Chinese are published in Hong Kong

The parish of the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul in Hong Kong, together with the Orthodox Fellowship of All Saints of China (USA) published two new books in the Chinese language. The first is a translation of an official document, "The Basic Principles of the Attitude of the Russian Orthodox Church toward the Other Christian Confession". A feature of this publication is that it is bilingual: both the English and, for the first time, the Chinese texts of this fundamental document of the Russian Orthodox Church are presented in a single book, defining the relationship of the Orthodox Church with the rest of the Christian world.

The second book is a translation from the English language of Fr John Whiteford's "Sola Scriptura", devoted to the controversy with the Protestant world on the place of Holy Scripture in the life of the Church and church tradition.

Both books were published in order to familiarize Christians in Hong Kong and China with the Orthodox vision of inter-Christian dialog. Both publications are registered in the international system of book numbering (ISBN).
