On May 12, 2013 at the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the People's Republic there was a meeting of His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia and Russian diplomats assigned to work in this country.
In attention to the works for the good of Orthodoxy in China, the Primate of the Russian Church honored A.I. Denisov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to China presenting him the Order of the Holy Prince Daniel of Moscow (II degree). The Minister-Counsellor of the Russian Embassy in China E.Y. Tomihin was awarded the Order of St. Sergius of Radonezh (III degree), and the first secretary of the Embassy of A.P. Povalyaev - the medal of St. Sergius of Radonezh.
