A round table devoted to the cooperation of the Russian Orthodox Church and the Russian Foreign Ministry in supporting compatriots in Asia is taking place in Beijing.
Orthodox clergy and laity from Beijing, Tokyo, Seoul, Ulan Bator, Jakarta, Singapore, Delhi, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Harbin are taking part in the forum. Archimandrite Philaret (Bulekov), Vice-Chairman of the Moscow Patriarchate's Department for External Church Relations, heads the delegation of the Russian Orthodox Church. The forum will conclude its work on December 11.
